Verified ClientHired Attorney 2023It was such a relief to find Jarrett Little to represent our company to help with a business dispute. Unfortunately, our company found him late in the game, but he jumped on the opportunity when the judge had initially denied us the opportunity for a continuance. We had just one week to achieve a favorable outcome once he secured a continuance for us, but he moved quick and kept in good communication from the beginning to the end. You will understand from the very beginning how easy it is to talk to Jarrett and trust him to handle your case with your best interests in mind. He?s very transparent, up-front, and ready to fight for you no matter the obstacles. I appreciated having someone like Jarrett on my side and will use him in the future and share his name with whomever might need his expertise. His dedication to the ?good fight? is admirable. When you work with Jarrett, you get access to him and don?t have to filter through a secretary and waste time. It?s an effective strategy and makes the client feel secure during a stressful legal dispute. It?s important to note that I was referred to The Little Law Firm by another attorney?s office after calling a long list of attorneys who ?didn?t take my kind of case?. Thank you to them and thanks for everything Jarrett!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
