If anyone needs help with the navigation or process of fighting through all the paperwork of filling for disability. This is the place and these are the people!!! I have never dealt with better people (Ms Melida) the front end and Ms Angela Davis Morris is Amazing in a court setting with the judge!! I spent the better part of my career doing paperwork, and I have not seen a person more professional or prepared than Ms Davis Morris. I'm mean all over every question no hesitation Whatsoever. I really can't say enough but it's life changing. This law firm is the best decision my wife and I have ever made. 5 stars isn't enough I wish we could give more. Then in the end they feel like family. What more could anyone ask for!

Davis Morris did what they said they would do. I was turned down twice before I contacted them. Everything was done over the phone and mail. Didn’t meet anyone from the office till the day of the phone call with the judge. The staff is very friendly courteous and professional. As for Angela Davis words can’t describe how wonderful she is. In just a few months she got me social security disability with back pay. Everyone who has been turned down for SS needs to use this law firm.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
