    Consulted Law firm 2024-2025
This law firm took me to court for a hospital bill that was owed. First off I had insurance but the remainder of the bill was eight hundred something. They served my mother the papers as I was at work. I made payment arrangements before the court date and was never notified that I did not need to show up to court. So I took a whole day off of work to sit in a court room until almost lunch time for the judge to ask me what I was there for and when I told her she asked the attorney why I was not notified of not needing to show in court. I have been making payments since April 2024 at 50 a month and have not missed a payment. I was finally able today 3/12/2025 to get on the website and it says my balance is $556. So my question would be where has the money gone if my bill was only eight hundred and some change??????

Google "James Eufinger ethics" and you'll see all you need to know about the attorney suing us over $350 in medical debt we never got notified about. Shady company using shady attorneys. We will be fighting them, tooth and nail.

Faber and Brand are attempting to pursue a garnishment in the State of Virginia in which they are not licensed. Appropriate legal remedies are in process to include a civil lawsuit as well as an inquiry by the American Bar Association

You can never get in touch with anyone at the company, on hold 3 different times for over 45 miutes each time. No emails, the only phone calls I received they never left a voice mail and I never know how it was from...no communication skills

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
