Andrew Chirstie from the first time we met him clear through the hearing, he was very open and honest with us. He went above and beyond in his job for our son. If we ever need a lawyer again, I will be calling on Andrew Christie first! He treated us with respect and understanding at a time we felt most vulnerable. Thank you Andrew!

Mr. Christie did a amazing job in a county that is really stricted I thought I was for sure doing jail time but thanks to Andrew Christie I didn't have to do any jail time and he was very understanding when it comes to fees I would use him again for sure

He's very good, I was impressed with the outcome and the effort put into my case for a reasonable amount of money. He was honest and treated my family and I with care and concern. I would definitely recommend him to my friends or family if in need of a defense attorney.

I have been a business owner for over 25 years and have recently been subjected to unfounded criminal prosecution in several states along with my business partners for basically the same alleged crimes. I have had to retain separate council in each state in order to defend myself. I have had the unfortunate experience of seeing just how tough a process it can be to find an attorney who you can not only communicate with but who will regularly communicate back in a timely manner. It is scary to know that as an innocent father of 4 daughters that my life and theirs is literally in the hands of someone that you can only hope will fight for you as if they were fighting for their own family. I have seen first hand in my cases and as well as that of others that most often you are a mere number or at best a pay check for someone. Andrew Christie is exactly what the legal profession is suppose to stand for. Andrew is someone who although must earn a living, is also and more importantly concerned with justice for his clients. He has always been accessible even though he hasn't always had the pleasure of delivering great news. If you are looking for an attorney who is skilled, compassionate and dedicated to his clients and profession than you need not look any further. I only wish he were licensed in more states.

Through the years I have unfortunately needed the services of a few attorneys. Andrew by far comes highly recommended and I owe a great deal of how my life has turned out today to him. He takes the time to get to know you and your situation and for me he gave the best possible outcome for three felonies plus a few city charges. He surpassed my expectation. I am truly grateful!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
