Hired Law firm 2022-2023As a result of a rear-end collision I received cervical and spinal injuries and my vehicle was totaled. After my calls went unanswered by the at-fault driver’s insurance carrier I began my search for an injury attorney. As an out-of-state victim without legal representation in Nevada where the accident occurred, I contacted a highly advertised prominent Nevada attorney, who I found through his extensive billboard and online advertising, portraying him as an aggressive and highly successful injury attorney. Upon agreeing to represent me, he informed me that my case would be assigned to “one of his attorneys.” Realizing that my case would be ”just another” of their many cases in such a high-volume practice, I declined his offer and resumed my search for an attorney who would prioritize my case. I was fortunate to have made that decision, as I eventually followed through with an acquaintance’s recommendation and contacted Friedman Injury Law, a recently established law practice that has been an absolute godsend. As an investor and business owner for more than 50 years, I have been represented by numerous attorneys and I believe experience has qualified me to judge my attorneys' proficiency and performances. Mr. Friedman argued my case with exceptional mastery and through his expertise and effort I received a very large settlement in the full amount of my claim. Mr. Friedman and his staff always kept me informed of the progression of my case. Whenever Mr. Friedman was not immediately available, his office staff answered all of my questions and concerns. Not once I was ever left waiting in suspense, which is a tremendous blessing for a client in pain and requiring medical attention. I have never expected, received or even imagined such personal attention from any legal counsel as I received from Mr. Friedman, as he personally helped me through my episodes of extreme pain and anxiety by securing and expediting outstanding medical services for me before, during, and after my spinal surgery. Mr. Friedman has been without equal, not only as my legal counsel, but also as a caring individual who went far above and beyond his contracted legal commitment to help me though my ordeal.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
