Jonathan K. Nelson is the Managing Attorney and founder of JK Nelson Law, a full-service Nevada law firm with offices in Summerlin, Southwest Las Vegas, and Pahrump. Since founding the firm in 2014, Jonathan has built one of Southern Nevada's most recognized and trusted legal practices — earning Gold recognition at the Best of Las Vegas Awards in Family Law, Bankruptcy, and Probate, and the Best Attorney award at the Best of Pahrump for six consecutive years. He has also been recognized by the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and named a Nevada Legal Elite.
Before entering private practice, Jonathan spent a decade in corporate banking, giving him a distinct advantage in cases involving complex financial matters, property division, business assets, and bankruptcy. He earned his B.A. in Finance and M.B.A. from Grand Valley State University and his J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He is admitted to practice in Nevada, Michigan, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada.
