My wife and I had been discussing getting our Family Trust together for quite some time. I was not sure who to consult as I rely on word of mouth recommendations whenever possible. I spoke with our financial consultant and he recommended Blake at Trusted Estate Planning. Our meeting with Blake was very concise and we had our Trust completed about one week later. We have yet to complete our Trust bequests/distribution designations, but Blake has provided instructions to make that easy when we finally make our decisions. We plan to take advantage of the Trusted Estate Planning private client membership so that we can update our Trust as needed.

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Kurt A. Johnson, Esq. The executor hired him to thoroughly account for the estate, but the records were incomplete, omitting a 5-figure check and deposit. When questioned, Mr. Johnson claimed these transactions "nearly cancel each other out," which is incorrect. Other questions regarding the information he delivered were met with evasive answers. Furthermore, he proposed charging $500 per hour to revise his flawed accounting and remarked, "I don?t understand why you are being so picky about very minor items, but I am happy to charge you additional fees to give you what you want." This dismissive attitude and unprofessional behavior are unacceptable. As a beneficiary, I deserve a clear and accurate understanding of the estate?s finances. I would not recommend this firm for anyone seeking reliable and professional accounting services, especially for estate management.
