Consulted Law firm 2024I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Kurt A. Johnson, Esq. The executor hired him to thoroughly account for the estate, but the records were incomplete, omitting a 5-figure check and deposit. When questioned, Mr. Johnson claimed these transactions "nearly cancel each other out," which is incorrect. Other questions regarding the information he delivered were met with evasive answers. Furthermore, he proposed charging $500 per hour to revise his flawed accounting and remarked, "I don?t understand why you are being so picky about very minor items, but I am happy to charge you additional fees to give you what you want." This dismissive attitude and unprofessional behavior are unacceptable. As a beneficiary, I deserve a clear and accurate understanding of the estate?s finances. I would not recommend this firm for anyone seeking reliable and professional accounting services, especially for estate management.
