Mr. Jeanney treated my family with the utmost professionalism and respect. He fought hard for an outcome that was even better than we had hoped for. I sincerely appreciate how hard Bill Jeanney and his team worked for my family.

I had a light fixture fall on my head. Phil and his team worked diligently to help me resolve my case. The apartment company offered 1k to shut my mouth and put this whole thing behind us. But Phil and his team, took matters into their own hands and helped out my husband very very well. I'm very grateful for them. Thank you all so much for helping us! You all were wonderful!

We hired Phil and his team to represent us because my wife had an injury happen. They were so welcoming and communicative with us on the process of how the lawsuit was going. We didn't feel like we were just another number. We felt cared for and treated very well. I myself have been part of another lawsuit, and they were absolutely terrible. The opposite of what Phil and his team were. If we get injured again, or know someone, I'll be going back to Phil and his team. A++. Thank you Phil again for your hard work.

I had never had experience with a personal injury attorney before and was a little nervous. When I had my first meeting with Mr. Wenzel I new I was in the right place. He took care of my case with professionalism, kindness, and experience. The next time I met with him it was for a deposition by the defendant's attorney. That went well and in a few months the case was s settled in my favor.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
