Hired Law firm 2021-2022I was charged with a felony assault case. I hired Attorney Goulden and he worked with me through a long court process all the way to trial. After the trial I was found not guilty. Attorney Goulden never made me feel like I was anything, but an important client and he always answered his telephone and emails. I owe a debt that can never be repaid to this lawyer. He won't steer you wrong.

Hired Law firm 2021I spoke to multiple attorneys who seemed to know exactly how my case would turn out with just a 5 minute phone call. I didn’t know any better and I was feeling pretty hopeless. I wasn’t going to bother hiring an attorney until someone recommended attorney Robert Johnson. I decided to give him a call. Due to the limited time I had before my court date, we met that day. He was professional and explained every option as well as the potential outcome. Not only has he been patient with explaining what was going on in terms I understood, but instead of feeling hopeless.. I felt confident. Anyways!! If you need a criminal defense attorney.. I highly recommend attorney Robert Johnson.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
