Verified ClientHired Law firm 2019I was pulled into a DWI stop in Asbury during the summer. This was not my first offense, although it had been a while. Based on many positive reviews, I called Anthony. I was pretty worried about my situation and scheduled an appointment with me quickly. He was very clear, I was facing serious charges (including jail time). He explained the law, how he could possibly fight the breathalyzer test and what to expect over the next month or so. I could tell he was a no BS guy and hired him the same day we met. He and his Assistant always returned my calls promptly and followed through with everything the said they would do. I was very nervous when I met Him at the court house on the day of sentencing. Anthony under promised and over delivered! I was truly amazed with the results! I did lose my license however, for a much shorter time than I thought and did not have to serve jail time. Anthony delivers for his clients with a fair/affordable price, honestly & professionally. I am beyond grateful for his hard work, knowledge of the law and treated me with the utmost respect.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
