Having just completed a long and difficult disability case, I am certain that my application would not have been successful without the specific talents Pamela Johnson brought to the table. Vast experience with the system, well and deserved respect within the courts, and access to various experts to assist along the way. From application, through various appeals, to final successful resolution at hearing, Pamela Johnson and her excellent team navigated this process with a caring and compassionate drive to see that my case got the attention it deserved. Ms. Johnson has my utmost respect and I can offer my highest recommendation to anyone who is looking for a disability attorney.

After having my whole life flipped upside down by being diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis and it affecting me and my family in every way I was suddenly fighting the biggest fight of my life. Besides seeing numerous Drs. And doing numerous tests daily came another big and trying task of a lifetime and that was having to file for social security disability because I was informed I was no longer able to work, suddenly fear sets in further than the fear of having a disease, and that fear was how am I suppose to support my family now. I was directed to seek the help of Pamela Johnson to file for social security disability, scary in itself once meeting Pamela and sitting down with her and discussing my case a specific kind of calming overtook me just in a conversation with Pamela. At this moment I new I had made the right decision in retaining such a great person and professional, the process itself of social security is very trying but yet it's still the process, but the way Pamela and her staff made the process less trying is a whole other level of expertise! My case took 2 1/2 years and it was finally approved, but at no point did Pamela ever give up or let go of her awesome positivity, she is not only a great person but is a great attorney that shows great professionalism at every point, there are no words that can actually exspress my gratitude to Pamela and her staff for being by my side and making the whole experience less stressful. After all is said and done she not only completed the task at hand with pure professionalism I can honestly say I have had the opportunity to actually meet one of the most genuine and caring people on this earth and with the upmost respect consider her a new found friend to not only me but to my family and we all thank her deeply !!! If your looking for an amazing attorney to get it done for you stop looking you have found her and her name is Pamela Johnson!!!! There wasn't enough stars to give her what she deserves!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
