Verified ClientHired Law firm 2020-2021When one is in distress and does not have a complete understanding of complicated legal processes, it is difficult to find a path forward or make good decisions. Retaining an attorney is a leap of faith. It is only after my experience of dealing with Harry of Gutfleish Law, I realized that he is an excellent attorney and has done a terrific job of not only fighting for me, but also of protecting my interests. It became clear to me that Harry, shared the same sincerity and dedication to doing his best for the client that Jeremy Klausner ( the litigation attorney who introduced me to Harry ) also had. Harry has always been straight forward in his approach. Even though his guidance has not always been a pleasant path for me, it has proved to be correct and true, without sugar-coating or empty false promises. His thorough research of facts and legalities before presenting his meticulously detailed arguments to the court are a reflection of his competence and have demonstrated effective results by outright dismissals of cases against me. Thanks are not enough to Mr. Jeremy Klausner of Jeremy Klausner Law P.C. for introducing Mr. Harry Gutfleish of Gutfleish Law. I must say it is one of the ‘best’ guidance I have received and it turned out to be a very good decision that I made to have Gutfleish Law represent my interests.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
