Overview
Terrance W. Annese is an attorney at Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC. with nearly three decades of experience providing highly skilled and effective legal representation in divorce and family law matters. Terrance focuses on securing favorable outcomes for clients in cases involving divorce, child custody, alimony, child support, equitable distribution, domestic violence, and related family issues.
Terrance’s passion for family law began during his studies at The Catholic University of America – Columbus School of Law, where he worked in the Families and the Law Clinic advocating for underrepresented clients in the Washington, DC area. This formative experience ignited his career-long passion for helping individuals and families find stability in times of upheaval.
“In guiding my clients through the chaos, confusion and fear of the unknown, in what are often the most difficult personal and intimate challenges of their lives, my goal is to protect my clients’ interests, resolve disputes efficiently, and achieve outcomes that allow them to move forward with confidence and peace of mind,” Terrance explains.
Clients trust Terrance to take decisive action and develop strategic solutions tailored to their unique situation and needs, breaking down even the most complicated matters into a clear, actionable “road map” towards their goals. At every step, Terrance ensures his clients feel informed, confident, and fully supported.
Whether negotiating settlements or advocating in court, Terrance remains focused on delivering meaningful results that safeguard his clients’ rights and secure their long-term well-being. While Terrance prioritizes low-conflict resolutions to reduce stress and encourage positive outcomes, he is fully prepared to pursue litigation aggressively when necessary. His blend of assertive advocacy and practical problem-solving ensures that his clients’ goals are achieved.
After earning his Juris Doctorate, Terrance served as a New Jersey Superior Court Law Clerk to the late Honorable Thomas DeMartin, P.J. Criminal Part. In this role, he gained valuable insight into how judges assess cases, an insider’s perspective that he now uses to position his clients for success in court. Additionally, he had the opportunity to assist in several high-profile cases, including the nation’s first Megan’s Law classifications.
Following his clerkship, Terrance served as a Deputy Attorney General with the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety for nine years. In this role, he tackled a wide array of legal duties, from enforcing state laws to providing legal advice to state agencies. This background in public service sharpened his ability to resolve legal issues with precision and effectively protect his clients’ interests.
Terrance is licensed to practice before the New Jersey and Pennsylvania courts and is a proud member of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA), including the NJSBA’s Family Law Section, as well as the Pennsylvania State Bar Association. He is also a member of the Burlington, Camden and Ocean County Bar Associations.
A native of West Paterson, New Jersey, Terrance earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University – Newark College of Arts & Sciences. He now resides in Southern New Jersey, where he enjoys caring for his three miniature schnauzers and pursuing his passion for thoroughbred horse racing in which he has been a licensed owner in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. He is also an avid fan of competitive sports, including baseball, hockey, and football.
Before practicing law, Terrance was a semi-pro baseball player, earning a walk-on acting role as a baseball player in the 1994 film, Major League II. Terrance also ran his own men’s semi-pro baseball team for more than two decades.

Hired Attorney 2021-2022So please be ware. I was told almost a year ago that my divorce should be completed by January!! I was asked to write a review within 48 hours of me signing the contract. My fault and error as this firm has not held up to anything that they promised!! They will charge you and run up your bill with NO completion of anything. Best of luck if you go with them!!!
