Verified ClientHired Law firm 2015-2018The Law Office of Louis Grandelli, was a pleasure to work with, from the actual attorney, to the Paralegals and even the Receptionists. They provided me with the upmost service, no matter when I called them, always helpful with explaining important legal documents and procedures that I didn’t understand. I have, and will continue to refer this firm to anyone that I come across that needs their services!

Hired Law firm 2018-2022This Law Firm doesn't deserve one star! Both Louis Grandelli and Leigh Eskenasi are rude, demeaning and bullies. My family retained them for three personal injuries cases, and we were told after 2 1/2 - 3 years that they couldn't help us, and to find another Attorney. I then handled my own personal injury case Pro Se and did well, yet according to them, I had no case. I have Power of Attorney because my husband had a stroke and they refused to acknowledge it for my husband case and Leigh Eskenasi stated "I don't give a f*ck what you have". This is against the law and a disgusting thing for an Attorney to state. I was also told a year ago that if I put any bad reviews online, they would sue me for defamation. I guess there is no freedom of speech according to this Law Firm. They also threatened to put a lien on my husbands case when I demanded they withdraw from representing my husband. This is the type of people you will deal with if you seek representation from these Attorneys. You're not allow to question them or make suggestions because they will tell you "Don't tell me how to do my job". They will insult you, become arrogant and insulting. Who's is working for who at this Law Firm? I thought they are working for us? They do not return calls, do not update you on your case, and have given us a countless amount of excuses for their actions. Please stay clear of this Law Firm and save yourself from the misery you will endure. I'm sure they will respond to this review with lies. Don't believe a word of it!

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
