Verified ClientHired Law firm 2019-2024I cannot recommend David highly enough. He represented me for more than 5 years during a very complex and emotionally draining family law case. From the very beginning, he demonstrated exceptional professionalism, empathy, and expertise that made navigating a challenging family law situation much easier. David’s deep understanding of family law, combined with his strategic "no nonsense" approach gave me confidence and peace of mind throughout the entire process. He always listened intently to my concerns, was timely in his responses, and thoroughly explained every step. He was always available to answer questions, no matter how small. David's commitment to my case was evident in the way he advocated fiercely on my behalf, balancing assertiveness with sensitivity to ensure the best possible outcome for me and my daughter. He took an incredible risk by representing me and I could not be more grateful for him. Thanks to his dedication, I felt supported and informed at every turn, which was invaluable during such an emotional time. The resolution he achieved exceeded my expectations. Because he represented me for so long, he was tirelessly invested in seeing it through to the end. I have tremendous respect for his dedication and resilience. Hired Law firm 2018-2021My dictionary says it is neither polite nor politic to get into other people’s quarrels. Yet that is exactly what David did successfully in Federal Court for me. David understands both law and people. He used his time tested strategy to successfully navigate a path though my nightmare. He can do the same for you.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
