Consulted Attorney R. Gregory Tomchin 2023-2025
Mr Tomchin does not return calls from other attorneys. Works for friends , but does not engage with other attorneys. He does this to help friends deep from going to court. He is unprofessional in refusing to answer questions. I would not recommend Mr Tomchin.

Hired Attorney R. Gregory Tomchin 2019-2024
Greg has 0 respect for the term conflict of interest. He met with my partners behind my back to discuss closing down my company with my partners family members who were not a part of the company. Most likely taking the risk because he handles their real estate transactions. He knew I was a member of the company because he drafted the operating agreement despite never disclosing the conflict of interest. It’s too bad the ratings only go down to half a star because his antics seep far below that.

    Recommends this Law firm
Greg Tomchin has been our attorney for about 5 years now. I went to at least 6 or more attorneys prior to finding Mr. Tomchin & none of them could do anything to help me & only took my money! Mr. Tomchin knows real estate law & is honest even during difficult times! He has taken care of numerous issues & won a lawsuit for us that all of the other attorneys I went to had no knowledge about even though they advertised & said they practiced in this area. I trust this attorney with everything I need & if he couldn't help me, I feel confident that he would send to to someone who could! My family will always use this firm for all of our legal needs & I highly recommend Greg Tomchin!! He is the man for the job, very smart & professional. You couldn't ask for a better attorney!!

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
