Michael Maurer is a trial lawyer with a rare, insider understanding of how personal injury claims are investigated, valued, and defended. He has served as lead counsel in more than seventy-five jury trials. Earlier in Michael’s career, he worked as both a police officer and detective, investigating hundreds of accidents and death cases. While attending law school, he also worked as an insurance claims investigator, gaining firsthand knowledge of how claims are built—and how they are challenged.
This combination of trial experience and insurance defense background allows him to anticipate carrier strategies, identify weaknesses in defense positions, and present cases in a way that maximizes value.
