Hired Attorney 2023Unfortunately, Greg Newman was my son's appointed attorney when he was fighting an Involuntary Manslaughter charge. He was very convincing he would be able to represent my son. I had checked with two other attorneys who would have charged anywhere from $30,000 to $50,000 and more depending on what all would be needed for my son's legal defense. The only preparation Mr. Newman did was having a good opening statement. He had absolutely nothing, nothing, to defend my son!! He was completely playing into everything the DA wanted. My son is 28 and will be 29 in April. He will be in prison for 26yrs. In retrospect, I would have borrowed money to have someone who genuinely cared about representing my son. Don't fall for his FAKE persona. Go as far away from him as you can if you want someone who genuinely cares and will give your loved one a fair representation and trial.
