I am really grateful for the help that Gillespie and Murphy has given me and to helping me out. I really couldn't have asked for anyone better.

Deciding to contact a lawyer about filing for bankruptcy was hard. My friend had used a lawyer at this firm and I knew he had been successful so I decided to ask for the lawyer he had used. I am not, nor have I ever been, a telephone person, especially business. I want to sit down with a person from Day 1, so while they are talking I can make notes, try and see if I think we will b able to work together, ask questions, and receive suggestions for how to make this happen. Unfortunately with Covid restrictions in this office I have not even met the lawyer, although I have talked to the person on the phone twice. They asked me a lot of questions and I wish at that time they had explained why they were asking these questions. I know now just through scrambing around myself. I would have liked to sat down with someone as we filled out all the financial information so I could better understand what was happening. The pre course was not worth my time. You weren't able to enter any numbers so it really didn't help at all. Now I'm supposed to be on a conference call instead of court and I am nervous about having a phone conference and would perfer to go to this office and sit down with the lawyer and the court appointed trust person. I would wear a mask. I've told them I do not have Covid. I am still getting treatment for cancer at the local Cancer Center and I assure you if I get it I will know. I've had 2 swab tests. I am the oldest on my family now so I have no one to ask advice. I am going to have an auction of abut 90% of what I own and includes 80% of my family heritage in the form of antiques but here again Covid has put it on hold until probably this spring or summer. And did I hire this law firm or for a consult. Who knows. I thought I was hiring. And of course I was told I need a job. I agree, I wouldn't be in this situation otherwise. I am actively searching. With the exception of one person at the office I don't feel like empathy is even in the office.
