Verified ClientHired Attorney 2019Attorney Graham and his office staff of Gerrie and Danielle are just awesome. Attorney Graham cares about the little people like us, normal people who are caught in the trap of medical bills due to our aging and borrowing to try to pay them. It doesn’t work. Attorney Graham allows you to file chapter 7 while making payments, the only one that I found after calling 11 other attorneys. You can start directing those harassing phone calls starting with only 100 down. I really hope this helps all people know that he is just a wonderful and truly caring attorney (never thought I would say that) but it is true. I talked to Gerrie in his office almost every day because I was just so nervous. She answered all my questions and always reassured me everything would be fine and it was. Attorney Graham was always on time, no waiting and so cordial and understanding, really a down to earth kind of guy. At our hearing, we were hardly asked any questions because the trustee said we had a good attorney that did his part of the job immaculately. You do not hear that every day. We were blessed by this law firm. Incidentally, this is the first review I have ever written for anyone and I am 62, no one ever asked me to do it. Attorney Graham and Associates are just wonderful.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
