John received his Bachelor of Science degree in finance and general business from Miami University, where he graduated summa cum laude. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from Case Western Reserve University, where he graduated cum laude.
John currently serves on the firm’s Management Committee, and is past Chairman of the Recruiting Committee. He is a 1999 graduate of Leadership Stark County and is past Chairman of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Food Festival and Fireworks. He is also past President and current member of the Board of Directors of the Jackson Belden Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Board of Directors for Junior Achievement of East Central Ohio. John also serves on the United Way Cabinet and the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards Committee. John is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and is a member of the Stark County Bar Association where he serves on the Corporate Administrative Committee.
John has been named one of Ohio Rising Stars (2005, 2006 2007, 2009 & 2010) by Cincinnati Magazine Ohio Super Lawyers – Rising Stars Edition and superlawyers.com and has been selected by his peers for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America (2009 & 2010).
