Consulted Law firm 2022-2023Ott Law Office's attorney Christine has a condescending attitude, treated me as dirt. She represents Quality Community Management, Inc. in an untrue demand. She went as far as placed a lien on my condo without checking the facts. I sent her several times the proofs showing that the management company DID deposit all my checks but she refuses to acknowledge them. She said she didn't care and still insists on requesting that I pay what they show owe, even if it is incorrect. I hired an attorney and she admitted to my lawyer that she didn't think the accounting was correct. Last November the management company sent a corrected statement about the payments but after my attorney closed the case, this January they sent out a new and uncorrected statement again showing all the previous charges. My question is who will pay for all these phony and incorrect games i.e. late fees, attorney fees, lien fee? I have all the proofs showing timely deposits by the management company!!!

Hired Law firm 2018-2021Lindsay Wrubel, Christina and their associates are hands down the most fraudulent, manipulative and heartless attorneys in Cleveland. Negotiated a settlement with my parents for a unit that they have owned for 5 years but had taxes owed on it from the previous owner. After 3 years of litigating my parents were given the ultimatum to pay the balance or foreclose (October 2021), so my parents were forced to pay a balance that was not entirely theirs. It is now November and we found out that Ott & Associates sent it to sheriff sale in AUGUST đ± yet proceeded to fraudulently negotiate a $32,000 settlement with my parents (who immigrated here and donât have the best English). My parents are now out $32,000 for dues paid, $90,000 they would have sold the condo for and letâs not forget the thousands that Ott & Associates added on to my parents HOA balance each month for the entirety of this litigation. Take my advice and find another group of âlawyersâ to help you. This group are snakes.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level â Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials â How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost â How are the lawyer's fees structured â hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City â Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
