I highly recommend Jonathan. He handled my traffic ticket professionally and got the case dismissed before the court date. His fee was very reasonable, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. Jonathan is knowledgeable, professional, humble, and respectful. He kept me informed throughout the process and answered all of my questions patiently, which gave me confidence throughout the case. If you’re looking for an honest and reliable lawyer who genuinely cares about his clients, I highly recommend Jonathan. Thank you for your outstanding service!

My daughter who is out of town had the misfortune of receiving 2 tickets due to a Cleveland Metro Parks aggressive officer. Atty Garver had very good communication with us, even though we were from Mansfield, he met with the court and prosecutor and was able to dispose of these very favorably. Would definitely recommend! Thank you!!

Mr Garver turned a bad situation into one with a positive outcome I had no where to go and was confused and worried regarding a criminal investigation I was involved in. He answered my call and I knew he was the man for the job. He told me to focus on myself and let him worry about the legal stress. He broke down all my evidence and really broke down my scenario and told my story to the detective with the evidence backing it. When my details went to a prosecutor my case was dropped. He helped an innocent man in a very scary situation regarding his former partner. He is an asset to northeast Ohio

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
