Overview
Jordan D. Lebovitz is a trial attorney and partner at Nurenberg Paris Injury Lawyers. Since 2013, he has established himself as a premier trial attorney throughout Ohio and the country representing victims of truck crashes, negligent security actions, wrongful death actions, automobile accidents and catastrophic workplace incidents. In the past 5 years, Jordan has collected over $75 million for his clients in verdicts and settlements. Jordan was also the only Ohio attorney involved in the global $800 million settlement stemming from the October 1 shooting in Las Vegas. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers as an Ohio Rising Star since 2019, and Best Lawyers Ones to Watch since 2021. Some notable verdicts and settlements:
- Construction worker, and a father of four, was electrocuted and killed when a commercial truck came in contact with an overhead power line. The case was resolved in less than one year from date of this tragedy. Cased settled for $7,350,000.
- Plaintiff, a 85-year-old woman, was killed when her house was burned down after a tree limb fell on power line that the power company, AEP, failed to respond to report of the downed power line in a timely fashion in compliance with industry standard its own internal policies. Jury verdict for $6,000,000.
- Plaintiff was hit by a drunk driver, and suffered traumatic orthopaedic injuries as well as a traumatic brain injury. Case settled for $3,050,000.
- Plaintiff, a 7-year-old girl, was killed when an SUV struck the rear of the vehicle, she was traveling in. Case settled for $2,750,000.
- Ready Mix concrete truck was traveling on a graded roadway and rolled while making a right turn directly on top of a passenger motor vehicle. Plaintiff traveling in the passenger vehicle was killed instantaneously. Case settled for $2,350,000.
Jordan is committed to working day and night for his clients to bring justice to their loved ones. Not only does Jordan have qualified practical experience in personal injury litigation, but his values that motivate his hard work are the reason he stands out: Jordan’s passion for each case with which he works is unmistakable to his clients, colleagues, and the community. He is dedicated to preventing further incidents from occurring in the future, increasing safety awareness, and giving families justice they deserve. This dedication is why Jordan went to night school at a local community college to obtain his Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). He describes his choice to pursue this license as a part of his commitment to serve and represent his clients’ full needs:
“It’s not really fair to be judgmental and pick apart what a driver may or may not be doing if you don’t really know what you’re talking about. So, I figured the best way to know what I am talking about is to go ahead and get the license myself.” -Jordan
Jordan takes the next step to become fully involved in his cases, using what he learns from his experience and CDL training. For example, he represented a woman whose car was hit by a semi-truck and analyzed the pre-trip inspection report and logbook to determine the truck driver was not telling the truth about his whereabouts before the crash. Jordan’s professional demeanor and knowledge coupled with his ability to connect with people are the reasons why a client of his who was involved in a crash wrote in a 5-star review, “[Jordan’s] empathy and understanding equaled his legal expertise.”
When he is not at the office or on the road working for his clients, Jordan like to spend time with his wife and son, and going out for Italian food. He also enjoys running and hiking with his dog, Stevie, and going skiing.
No matter what type of case he is working on, Jordan will be with you through every step of the process and will make it his mission to get justice for your family, with the support and compassion you deserve.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
