This place is a joke. I paid ahead on the debt that I owed and this law firm still threatened to garnish my wages because they didn’t receive a payment. I was PAID AHEAD! The receptionist, Dee, is an idiot and older than dirt. They don’t accept payments online and can’t take payments over the phone. They are a joke and pathetic.

Rude and unprofessional … this place is a scam. Heaven forbid you pay your bill a month late and make up for the other payments

This little guy is one of the most unprofessional and unethical human beings I’ve ever encountered. There’s a special place in hell for him. Don’t believe a word he says.

This is the biggest scam in history. EVEN after you have paid your debt, they continue to garnish. They can see that the debt has been paid, but will not release until after they receive PAPER CHECK IN THE MAIL, all while charging interest. They are thieves who don't mind to bend rules in order to make money. Rude, incapable, thieves. Don't ever screw up and fix it, cause these people will continue to STEAL your money even after your debts are paid!!!! Yes I am angry which I wasn't when I was paying for my screw up, but now, they keep taking money and charging interest all while being able to see that I have paid in full. THIEVES!!!!!!!!! I hope and pray that someone in this law offices family screws up and gets garnished!!!!! I also really like that you can't right a review without giving your name and history!! I guess they don't want the people that they are stealing from to let the idiots who would actually pay these people know what kind of crap "law" these losers practice!! Those who can DO, those who can't become bottom feeder attorneys!!!

When viewing a listing, consider the state advertising restrictions to which lawyers and law firms must adhere, as well as our FindLaw.com Legal Directory disclaimer. Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
