Hired Law firm 2018-2021I've been involved in a few accidents through the years. Sometimes you need someone to help you with these issues that is not your family it a Lawyer. Rhys Richards, is a good person and has a great personality. He'll take care of your needs. He has represented me through a few of these issues and never led me wrong. Even when I try to steer away, Rhys put me back on the right path and helped me really understand what was going on. Rhys is willing to travel to you home and treats you with respect. If you want someone to LISTEN with understanding, Rhys is your Lawyer. Sometimes we would get off track with our conversations to discuss our pets and that was just OK. Thank you Rhys Richards you made it bearable. George & Lisa Daniels.

Hired Law firm 2019-2021The Richards Firm represented me relative to a truck accident/collision, where the insurance company for the at-fault driver initially evaluated liability at 50/50. The Richards Firm tracked down a witness and obtained an Affidavit that caused the insurance company to reevaluate its position and accept 100 percent liability. I highly recommend The Richards Firm to anyone who has a personal injury claim or needs a truck accident attorney.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
