Attorney Information
Overview
There is nothing more satisfying than achieving a just result for my clients. It is an honor for me to spend my days working for people who otherwise may have no voice and no way to secure their rights. That is why we fight for justice for all people, including the most underserved among us.
I started my career in West Africa to implement the most basic human rights and rules of law. We can never forget the work we have done in our country to provide access to justice for all who need it. We must continue to work toward a more equal playing field where the strongest and richest do not win by default, simply as a result of their positions of power.
When I see a wrong, I believe it needs to be righted. That is why I practice law.
Leslie Murray: Leslie's background spans from graduating from the Case Western Reserve University Law School, to serving with the United Nations Mission in Liberia - Department of Peacekeeping Operations and the Office of the Prosecutor for the Special Court for Sierra Leone. She is past President of the Board of the Boys and Girls Club of North East Ohio and serves on numerous other boards in the community including the Sandusky State Theatre. She is also a native Sanduskian and attended Sandusky Central Catholic School.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
