Kevin C. Kevin is a graduate of The University of Akron School of Law. He graduated cum laude and in the top 23% of his class. During law school, he received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for achieving the highest grade in family law. While in law school, Kevin clerked for two Akron/Cleveland area law firms, volunteered at the Akron Law Expungement Clinic, and served as the Treasurer for the Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
Prior to joining Mockensturm, Ltd., Kevin worked for a law firm in the Cleveland area where he represented clients throughout Northeast Ohio in employment, personal injury, domestic relations, and general litigation matters. He practiced before state courts, federal courts, and administrative agencies, including: the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, Social Security Administration, Ohio Industrial Commission, Ohio Civil Rights Commission, and Department of Veterans Affairs. Kevin was also a certified CASA/Guardian Ad Litem, where he represented and advocated for children in court proceedings, and he was accredited by the Department of Veterans’ Affairs to handle claims for VA disability and pension benefits.
Prior to attending law school at the University of Akron, Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from Seton Hill University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he also played baseball for four years. Kevin currently works out of our Toledo and Louisville locations. When he is not working, Kevin enjoys watching Pittsburgh sports and spending time with his wife and son.
