Verified ClientConsulted Law firm 2022I was very pleased with the adoption attorney's level of experience and expertise. He was able to guide me through the entire adoption process, which made things much easier for me, and answer all of my questions along the way. His knowledge and professionalism made me feel confident that my adoption would go smoothly, and it did! If you're considering adoption, I highly recommend this attorney!

Hired Law firm 2020I did not feel like a client nor felt my child custody case was handled properly. I hired office after speaking with Andrea the head attorney very convinced after speaking with her. After hired I got no phone call to consult me on my case until day of court and my file was given to another attorney of her office that was leaving the firm. I tried on several occasions to call to speak about my case and the process and my calls and requests to set an appointment were avoided, not returned, and denied. I later release this office and lost almost $1000 for emails, calls to the other attorney office, and a 30min court appearance. I would not recommend this office at all. Read all reviews my case was handled similar to others and they felt ripped off as well.

Hired Law firm 2025-2026Stephanie fights for the opposite party. She will ask questions multi times and charge for it. She will not answer questions or give legal advice. Her go to statement can't make opposite party to anything. Will not file motions on your behalf. Military law is supposed to be a specialty. This is not true. The client supplies all the rules and laws, and she sits back and collects more money. Don't hire this firm and think you are in good hands; you're not. The office staff is rude and accusatory. This firm is not recommended for anything. Call another firm or represent yourself. You would be better off.

Hired Law firm 2023-2025I hired this law firm for a custody and support case. They aren’t the cheapest, but when it comes to your kids, you want the best. They fought hard for me, and I’m so grateful for the outcome they secured.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
