Paul talks a big game and doesn't walk one. Typical sleeze lawyer.

My son was charged with a serious crime that could have gotten him ten years. Having never needed an attorney, I didn't know where to start. I called the jail and a jailer recommended Paul Faulk. Paul was great. He got the charge reduced so only probation. Paul's price was reasonable. He truly is a good person that cares. He takes the time to explain the process, how he intends to proceed and what his goals are. His confidence and knowledge gave us peace of mind during the whole process. He seems to really know everyone in the court system which in Oklahoma City seems to be a big advantage. I felt I was his only client during the process, quick to return calls and texts. He is a great choice for a defense attorney when your future is on the line.

I met Paul while doing work on his house and he was very nice and offered his service if I ever needed it. A few months ago I called Paul about a problem and he returned my call immediately and was able to meet and get started. I have used other attorney's but Paul was the most attentive to my needs and my situation. He did a great job in the resolution that really helped me out. I would highly recommend him for any of your legal matters, he is a very capable and go get it attorney and it was a real pleasure working with him. Thank you again Paul, GREAT JOB...

My first lawyer told me there was nothing that could be done on my felony cases and i should take the 10 years the DA was offering. I hired Paul and he fought the case and got the Da to give me probation. I got a second chance thanks to Paul and I cant begin to say what it has done for me Im home with my new baby and wife instead of in prison. He is the real deal he takes the time to explain everything and treated me with respect. He knows what hes doing in the courtroom and I could see he has great respect from judges and DAs. We are friends now and still keep in touch. If you are in trouble with the law call him.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
