Once Courteney Sturgell (CS) took control of our case midway through a 2-year probate of my father's (and subsequently Step-Mother's) will, I knew the probate process was now on a purposeful track to completion. Her experience played out immediately in the way she could explain industry dynamics, anticipate our questions, and act in our behalf regarding questions we did not know to ask. Specifically, the unique nature of OK law in terms of interest payments that delivered an additional 20% on top of the accrued revenue, and the recommendation to produce a "close out deed" (my words) so our heirs will not have to endure this process going forward.
