Van McIver is Of Counsel with experience serving as a Deputy District Attorney in Deschutes County and Multnomah County, as well as serving as a U.S. Naval Officer. Licensed to practice law in Oregon since 2006, Van earned a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, and a B.S. from the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois. Van has also completed an advanced course at the National Advocacy Center. Outside of legal practice, Van's community interests include serving as a volunteer firefighter and Wilderness First Responder, along with private piloting and beekeeping.
