Hired Law firm 2022-2023I was hit by a drunk driver in Sunriver while on vacation. While I herniated a disc, I had a ton of preexisting conditions that complicated everything. I am a lawyer and thought I could handle this but when the insurance company rejected my $15,000 settlement demand, I called a defense lawyer I knew in Redmond for a recommendation and without hesitation recommended Tim. I hired him and he and his Assistant, Julie, took over everything. 6 months later I had my deposition (where I thought I did poorly) but a month later Tim had secured a $300,000 policy limits offer!! No IME. I did not have surgery. It was an absolutely wonderful result. The best I could have hoped for. Hire Tim. You want the best on your side.

Hired Law firm 2018-2022Tim and his team are professional, communicative, and caring. They were attentive throughout the process and made sure that my husband and I understood each piece. Tim is knowledgable and experienced; he was always calm, cool, and collected, which was a relief in a time such as this. Tim was successful in settling my case and allowing me to move forward with my life. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of these services.

Hired Law firm 2019Tim Jones and his team are professional, timely, and great communicators. They are ethical and very knowledgeable with personal injury law. Everything turned out as they explained and advised on. Responses were quick and I felt they had my back from the beginning to the end.

Hired Law firm 2019-2020I came to Tim after an auto accident/injury. With his professionalism, knowledge and support I was able to get the surgical help I needed and a settlement that covered my medical bills.(which was more that what the other guy's business insurance was willing to do, even after the guy admitted fault to the accident before I called Tim. ) If you are looking for someone who will stand by you and support you during a frustrating and possibly drawn out ordeal, I would highly recommend Tim.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
