As a Senior Associate Attorney at Mark C. Cogan, P.C., Richard L. McBreen III is dedicated to serving clients throughout the State of Oregon. He focuses his practice on criminal defense, handling cases involving property crimes, robbery, burglary, assault, sex offenses, domestic violence, drug crimes, DUII and traffic crimes, expungement, felon in possession and other weapon-related offenses, Measure 11 and Measure 57 offenses, extortion, Federal crimes, Internet and computer crimes, and white-collar crimes.
Before earning a Juris Doctor from the Willamette University College of Law, Mr. McBreen attended Portland State University, from which he received a Bachelor of Arts in political science in 2007.
For nearly a decade, Mr. McBreen has committed himself to aggressively advocating on behalf of his clients and their rights. He understands what being charged with a criminal offense can mean for his clients and their families. For that reason, Mr. McBreen considers every case to be a serious one and strives to provide his clients with the personalized attention and tenacious defense they deserve. He has successfully represented clients against a range of criminal charges in both state and federal court. In order to best serve his clients, Mr. McBreen is admitted to practice law in the state of Oregon and the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.
Staying active in the legal community is a priority for Richard. He is a member of the Oregon Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, the Gus J. Solomon American Inn of Court, the NORML Legal Committee, the Multnomah Bar Association, and the National Lawyers Guild.
