Verified ClientHired Law firm 2023-2024Alex did a fantastic job working through parenting time issues for me. He is efficient and good at his job and handled my matters in an affordable way.

Hired Law firm 2023My experience with this divorce attorney was extremely disappointing. From my perspective, my case was poorly handled and the level of professionalism and communication I expected simply was not there. Throughout the process, I often felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that important details were overlooked or not addressed in a timely manner. Communication was inconsistent, and I frequently felt left in the dark about what was happening with my own case. During a stressful situation like a divorce, having clear guidance and reliable support from your attorney is critical, and unfortunately that was not my experience here. The process felt disorganized and unnecessarily frustrating. Instead of feeling represented and supported, I often felt like I had to chase down information and advocate for myself more than I should have had to with legal representation. Of course, every case and client experience may be different, but based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend this attorney. If you are going through something as serious and life changing as a divorce, I strongly suggest carefully considering other options before hiring this lawyer.

Hired Law firm 2025I walked into Mr. Jones office with a unique case and unaware of my rights or how to proceed with the situation I was in. He was invaluable to my case. I absolutely would not have had the outcome I did without his professionalism and dedication to my case. He is an excellent attorney and I can’t thank him enough for all of his help and seeing me through a difficult situation. I would 100 percent recommend Alex as an attorney.

Consulted Law firm 2025Today is May 29th, 2025. Alexander knows I am on a very limited timeline, and he still charged me $350 for the "free" consultation. He took the money, spent an hour reading court results from the past 9 years w/o hearing anything (evidence, facts, or otherwise) then said he wanted to sleep on his decision and would call me back the following morning. He didn't, he waited until we lost another day. "Something came up." was his literal words. "Free Consultation" is a lie, I have the receipts. Couldn't be more let down or disgusted.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
