Adam wasn't the first lawyer that we had talked to after my accident, but he was the last. From day one, Adam was fighting along side of us. His experience and wealth of knowledge has helped finish our case with no set backs or surprises. He has been one step ahead of all other parties. Injury lawyers may hold a certain "reputation" with the public, but Adam shatters that with his down to earth personality. It feels like I am talking to a friend every time that he calls. I highly recommend him and his firm.

Adam took on my case after I was referred to him by the attorney I had initially hired. I could not be more grateful for that. Adam went above and beyond to repair any breakdown between parties involved in my case and to get the focus back to the relevant issues and ultimately resolve my case with the best results possible. Adam acknowledged and respected the physical, emotional, mental and financial impact the case has on my life and worked diligently with his team to obtain the best outcome for me.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
