Hired Law firm 2017-2021It is so important to have someone who believes in you and has your best interests at heart. That is exactly what I found when I found Marc and Kellyanne. My story starts with a diagnosis of cancer. Not only was the cancer treatment hell, but little did I know that my career of 30+ years was over. I was scared and humiliated. I thought for sure my life would resume as soon as I kicked cancer's butt. I was totally wrong. Marc and Kellyanne stood by me. They put me at ease. I was so overwhelmed and they took care of me. Not just my case, but me as a person. They explained everything as it was happening and told me what was about to happen. Everyone thinks "this can't happen to me!" Well it can. I never once felt that i was a stranger. I felt as though I was taken care of as family. There were times I went home thinking I understood everything. I was mistaken many times. My phone calls were promptly returned, and my questions were taken seriously. I am so very pleased with my time with this firm. I am still in the process of working things out, and I know this will result in a positive outcome. They were right by my side every step of the way. They won my case and every time I go back I am welcomed by name. I feel like everyone who walks through those doors will feel like they matter and they are important. This can be a terrible time in your life. You may feel small and unimportant. Let me tell you you will walk tall after your appointment. This firm is more than competent, they are excellent and most importantly, they fight for what is right.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
