Hired Law firm 2019-2021I asked for advice on a local borough summons for a driveway apron. The borough wants the entire Apron replaced with Cement Sidewalk, but I shared with JSDC the Middletown Code where it says Asphalt should extend from Driveway to Street. I had a 20-minute phone call with a James Spade where he didn't acknowledge the contradictory summons with the documented code. Instead, he just said "Make a plea and go to court". That was the extent of his advice. They billed me $510 (1.7 HOURS) for a 20-minute phone call. When I inquired about this billing to see if it was a mistake, James accidentally CC'd me on an internal email and was down-talking me saying I "ignored a lawful notice" from the borough, and my conduct of inquiring about billing is what got me "in trouble" with the borough. - Again not acknowledging how I pointed out in screenshots the contradiction between Borough Codes and the Summons. This behavior is ABSOLUTELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND APPALLING. Not only was James completely useless in helping me, he over-billed me, then degraded me on an internal email. I will NOT be going back to JSDC as long as James Spade is employed there.
