Attorney Information
Overview
As the son of Peruvian immigrants, Dwight Vincent Quichua has always had a fascination and respect for the immigration matters in the United States, which now carries over to the immigration matters of his clients. Dwight, a New Jersey native, graduated from York College of Pennsylvania (YCP) in 2009, earning magna cum laude honors with a B.S. in Criminal Justice.
Dwight’s professional career has been exclusively in the immigration field. While in college, Dwight worked with the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR) at the York Immigration Court first as a Student Clerk from 2007-2009 and then as a Legal Assistant from 2010-2016. During his 8 years at the Court, he had the privilege of being mentored by many Immigration Judges and learned how the Immigration Courts and the United States immigration system actually works.
It was also during his time with the Court that his interest in pursuing a career in immigration by going to law school developed and later came to fruition. After four years, while working full-time during the day and going to law school at night, Dwight graduated with a J.D. from Widener University Commonwealth Law School (Widener) in 2016. At Widener, Dwight was a member of the Widener Journal of Law, Economics, and Race (WJLER), and a member of the Trial Advocacy Honor Society.
Dwight joined the Law Office of Troy J. Mattes in 2016. He is admitted to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He is also fluent in Spanish.
