    Hired Attorney 2020
We hired Sean paid up front and got most all of our questions, information and concerns answered by online attorney websites. We did not over call or ask a ton of questions. We were trusting he would do his job. He is not a people person Which would be fine if he cared about his Client. After the time of hire was when I heard about the same things I experienced from other former clients. I still was giving him the benefit of the doubt. That was not in our best interest needless to say. If you would like an attorney that only communicates by mail this is your guy. If you want an attorney not to take the time to explain anything, or go out of his way to fight your case this is your guy. If you want an attorney that does absolutely nothing to help you case and you have to advise him of what you want done, after you completed your own research. You must send a ton of emails and messages only get a angry condensing response by mail, telling in other words you are a bother. We kept the letters and emails. Remember he only communicates by mail and will not contact you unless you leave a message, again he will. It call you repeat ONLY BY MAIL. When You email you will only get a response from his secretary and Sean will respond only through MAIL. The letter never really have any information other then him defending his non-communication practice. He has not one problem talking down to you in his letters so don’t worry If the above fits your needs you will feel great about hiring him. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone! I never write reviews but this experience was very different. He will get you in his office fast take you money and that’s about it! If you want an attorney to sit and wait to show up for court and do nothing for your case he is that type of attorney .

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
