Consulted Attorney 1998I would not recommend her for anything unless you would be looking for a person who is down with falsification of public records. Hello Karen, last time I called you, you were a US Attorney. Remember the phone call? Anyway remember Bill Smith and he threatened you with a subpoena when talking with you about dates being changed on IAD investigations submitted to you for review? - Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
