    Hired Attorney 2020-2022
Do not hire this law firm for domestic violence he played around for 2 years with my case he would never return our phone calls he also did not show up for court even though he said he wanted to be the one to tri our case he sent in a stand in he never asked for my side of the story in the end we took a plea deal because we was not confident that his law firm would fight for us he was banking on my daughter not showing up despite the fact I told him she would and did every single time he only takes domestic violence cases because it an easy $ 2,500 a person in my case $5,000 between me and my husband saying that these cases just go away wake up Bill and take domestic violence off of your website, when we went to court I took a plea deal the layers that showed up that day did not read the statement she made that day it was yet again a different story from what was in discovery so they could have poked holes in her story big Time but it looks like to me at the time Bill was more focused on that crack pot Donald Trump case now that I seen an article about it h seems so proud to defend an election denier and insurrection cop killer.

When viewing a listing, consider the state advertising restrictions to which lawyers and law firms must adhere, as well as our FindLaw.com Legal Directory disclaimer. Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
