Overview
Mark joined McEldrew Purtell in 2020 as an attorney in the firm’s national civil rights practice. A seasoned trial lawyer, Mark has tried more than 60 cases to verdict in federal and state courts. His depth of courtroom experience, strategic judgment, and command of complex civil rights issues make him trusted counsel for clients in some of the firm’s most significant and high-profile cases.
Before joining McEldrew Purtell, Mark worked in the public sector as a civil rights litigator, where he also helped guide the development of police and prison policies. His prior experience also includes litigating matters involving personal injury, labor and employment disputes, and land use issues. At McEldrew Purtell, Mark draws on this broad background to represent clients in cases involving civil rights violations, disability discrimination, medical malpractice, FELA claims, and serious personal injury matters.
Mark is a faculty member at the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and is nationally recognized as a presenter on civil rights litigation. He earned his undergraduate degree from Salisbury University and his law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law.
