My Issues With How My Case Has Been Handled, You filed the lawsuit in the wrong county even though I sent you the exact location where I was injured. I asked you to delay the deposition because we weren’t ready. You refused. You told me my IME looked great but we never reviewed it together. When the defense used the validity test against me, I had no idea what it was because you never prepared me for it. My only preparation was watching one short video. You sent me exhibits by email. When we reviewed them, I pointed out important issues that you had missed, but you didn’t seem concerned about them. It was obvious the defense attorney had read every single document about my life and medical history. It was clear you had not. You failed to put together any exhibits for the deposition. The defense had 18 to 20 exhibits. We had zero. I saw most of the defense exhibits for the first time during the deposition. During the deposition, you tried to explain what the defense attorney was asking me, and she scolded you for it. You only objected once, then immediately withdrew the objection because you were wrong. When I told you a document looked fraudulent and wasn’t mine, you didn’t object and just told me to answer the questions. I had to teach you basic gas and oilfield terms during the case. Whenever I tried to talk to you about my case, you told me not to tell you how to do your job. You got confused multiple times when the defense objected. You even said “oh yeah, that wasn’t the right questioning,” had to redo your questions, and seemed unsure of yourself. I was in severe pain with a migraine. The only comfortable position I could get in was leaning back with my eyes closed and my arms crossed. This gave my neck nerve some relief. You scolded me for it and told me to wake up. Right after the deposition you told me I did okay and you’d just have to work harder. But when we were all done, you seemed more interested in bragging about your car and success to us. Then in emails afterward, you said that I blew the case, we’ll be lucky to get anything, and that we lost a lot of money, all of it my fault. After seeing how the deposition went, I am not confident that you can effectively handle the defense attorney in a trial.
