Absolutely terrible. Ms Leech should be held in contempt for triggering a military veteran on purpose. She supports toxic women. She encourage my ex wife to file a restraining order under false pretenses. She cause so much financial strain by setting a high support number instead of agreeing to low interim payments to help me and my spouse out. She refuses to tell her client to sell the house and she hasn’t paid the mortgage in 9 months and it’s pending foreclosure, again. She’s let her client purposefully alienate me from my kids. She is a lawyer of bad faith and doesn’t mind taking on narcissistic women as a client. I suspect she’s a narcissist herself. I did an Attorney Complant filing and honestly she needs way more. She’s awful an an embarrassment to the bar. I better not hear her say she supports veterans cause she didn’t support me. Terrible and callous attorney and a waste of my attorneys retainer mediating with her. She’s unagreeable and callous and tried to weaponize a restraining order during a support hearing. She’s cold, heartless, manipulative, and vindictive. If you’re a narcissistic female great attorney to have.

The women’s law firm Anderson, Leech and Long and Aimee Burton, my attorney, are truly advocates for justice and THE ALLY to have on your side. They are a working team with multitudes of expertise if your case should ever take a turn on an unexpected path. They are thorough, and I do mean thorough in their research. You truly are dealing with intellectual legal-beagles here. I especially want to point out my attorney Aimee Burton. Wow! She readily explains in plain language the intricacies of what’s happening with your case as you encounter hearings, judgments, etc. My case was orchestrated and planned so strategically in that each encounter along the way, it brought me closer to our fair and final goal. Her planning is based on wisdom of human nature, knowledge of the court system and operating with the utmost integrity and respect for you and the law. She knows how to fight for your case! What’s also a big win is that the billing is very reasonable and manageable. They work with you. I am in such Awe, Elated and Appreciative to have found such an Accomplished and Honest Law Firm and my Attorney Aimee Burton, that I am awarding her more than the amount of the cost of my bill. Thank you, Aimee, for helping me during my time of need when I encountered a serious battle in my life, and you were my protector who fought hard, long and won to which I prevailed as the Victor!

Some lawyers publish comparative information regarding the services that they provide which may be subject to specific comparative communications restrictions.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
