Attorney Information

Overview

Gino comes from a family of professionals. He is the son of the late Arthur DiNicola, M.D., family physician for over 40 years and Elizabeth, a retired R.N. His brothers and sisters consist of three physicians, an engineer and a physician’s assistant. Gino chose to practice law and he began his legal career after graduating the prestigious Dickinson School of Law of Penn State University practicing Workers’ Compensation in both Luzerne and Schuylkill County. His law career began in 1990 and he has since represented individuals in Workers’ Compensation, Personal Injury and Social Security Disability. Since 1990 he has cumulatively recovered millions of dollars for his clients with his zealous representation. For example, in what appeared to be only a modest slip and fall case, Gino generated a claim and recovered a settlement worth over half a million dollars for an elderly woman from a well known global petroleum client.

In the Workers’ Compensation field Gino is unwavering in his representation of injured workers and he can immediately call upon his vast medical knowledge and also rely upon the medical expertise of his family to determine if you have a successful claim.

Like Rob, Gino never charges to answer your questions or to meet with you for advice. If you hire him for a Workers’ Compensation matter he will always reduce his fee in all lump sum settlements. In all cases Gino will pay every cost necessary to litigate and win your case.

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

  • Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
  • Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
  • Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
  • City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
