Attorney Information
Overview
Rob has been certified as a workers’ compensation specialist as authorized by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Rob only accepts Workers’ Compensation and Social Security Disability cases.
Rob personally witnessed on the job injuries while working his way through law school as a member of the Teamsters Union. He worked with injured workers’ mistreated by the system. He has legally represented injured workers since 1997. For years he practiced law in Harrisburg with the former director of the PA Bureau of Workers’ Compensation and with a former Workers’ Compensation Judge.
He returned to his hometown, Pottsville, in 2006 after the birth of his daughter, Ava. He and his wife Sofie have since been blessed with a second daughter, Ella, and he is happy to be back in Schuylkill County. Sofie’s also happy. According to her, "now clients don’t have to leave town to hire a city attorney."
Over the years Rob has recovered millions of dollars in wage loss benefits for his clients. More importantly, he will aggressively protect your rights and treat you like a person – not a file. Rob never charges to answer your questions. If you have a question, call him for a free consultation, free meeting, free answers and free advice without any obligation. If you hire Rob he reduces his fee for every workers’ compensation lump sum settlement and he will pay the thousands of dollars necessary to fight your case in court. If he doesn’t win your case – there is absolutely no cost to you.

Hired Attorney 2021-2022In my opinion attorney Robert Frantz is an exceptional Workmans compensation lawyer. From my initial contact with him he explained the entire process that would be involved in my claim. His explanations were very clear and easily understood. His vast experience in the Workman's Compensation program was extremely valuable in receiving a favorable decision on my claim. His paralegal staff were extremely helpful to me when I had a question over the phone or walked into the office.

How do I choose a lawyer?
Consider the following:
- Comfort Level – Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?
- Credentials – How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?
- Cost – How are the lawyer's fees structured — hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?
- City – Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?
Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?
Here are a few to get you started:
- How long have you been in practice?
- How many cases like mine have you handled?
- How often do you settle cases out of court?
- What are your fees and costs?
- What are the next steps?
Want to check lawyer discipline?
It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:
- Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
- Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
- Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
