Dan Talmadge was born in Enterprise, Alabama. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Alabama in 1994. He graduated cum laude from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans in 1998.
Dan began his career as an attorney with the law firm of Cobb & Shealy, P.A. in Dothan, Alabama. During that time, he defended insurance companies and their insureds in civil cases. As a result of this experience, he gained valuable insight into how insurance companies evaluate and settle claims.
Dan joined the firm Morris, Cary & Andrews, LLC in 2002. He became a partner of the firm, now known as Morris, Cary, Andrews, Talmadge & Driggers, LLC in 2003. Since that time, he has specialized in handling cases on behalf of people that have been wrongfully injured or killed. He has handled numerous claims for victims of reckless driving, defective products, dangerous workplaces and medical errors. He has represented injured people in jury trials in Houston County, Coffee County, Dale County, Pike County, Covington County, Monroe County, Mobile County and Lee County, Alabama and in Walton County, Florida.
Dan is a member of the Alabama State Bar and the Florida State Bar. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern, middle and Southern Districts of Alabama, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas. He is a mediator and has been listed on the Alabama State Court Mediation Roster since 2009.
Dan is married to the former Elizabeth Charbonnet of New Orleans. Dan and Liz have been blessed with five children. The family attends First Methodist Church in Dothan, Alabama where Dan has taught a Sunday School class for several years.
