Keith Truppman is a founding partner with the law firm of Mintz Truppman, P.A. Keith received his BA from University of Miami in 1982 and attended Magdalene College at University of Cambridge. Keith received his J.D. with honors from Santa Clara School of Law in 1984. He has been admitted to the Florida Bar since 1985; United States Southern and Middle District Court; US Claims Court; US Courts of Appeal for the 11th Circuit. He has argued numerous appeals in the Florida District Courts of Appeal as well as the Florida Supreme Court in addition to litigating cases through trial in Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County.
He has been or presently belongs to numerous professional associations including the Florida Bar Trial Lawyers Section; Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers; American Bar Association; American Association For Justice; Dade County Bar Association; past board member UM /JM Burn Center /Orange Park Trust. He has given numerous seminars /lectures for the Florida Windstorm Association and Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA). Mr. Truppman has been an AV Preeminent rated trial lawyer since 1994 and was named a “Super Lawyer “ by his peers in 2021.
Mr. Truppman’s areas of specialty include all areas of insurance law including first party residential and commercial property insurance claims for windstorm, fire, water, collapse, theft, marine, bad faith and catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death. He has been litigating insurance claims on behalf of insureds against their insurance companies for 35 years.
