I am pleased to provide Zarco Einhorn Salkowski Attorneys at Law with an exceptional review. Specifically, Attorney Michael Braunstein who provided outstanding legal advice and representation throughout the process. He and his team are professional, conscientious, collaborative and personable. Michael exceeded my expectations for the case, and I wouldn?t hesitate to recommend him and the firm to anyone in need of legal representation. Thank you, Michael and Zarco, Einhorn and Salkowski. D. Robert Zarco and his Team are truly in a league of their own. I experienced a wrongful termination scenario with my former franchise where it appeared all was lost. Not only was my case complex, but discovering the correct details in the correct order at the correct time, was absolutely essential. No detail was too small. Mr. Zarco is a true master at his craft, his memory and ability to devour large bandwidths of data while engaged in simultaneous activities was astounding to me, yet seemed effortless for him! I was constantly in awe, particularly during mediation. The discovery timeframe for my case spanned over one year, yet his recall and timing were ninja-level. I witnessed Mr. Zarco carrying a telephone conversation with our mediator while his Team entered/exited the room, handed him other phones for a quick listen, documents for signature/quick glance, Cuban coffee/guava pastry, etc., yet their sync and flow mirrored a well-oiled machine. Meanwhile, Mr. Zarco never once missed a beat. I also felt the mutual respect this man shared with his entire Team. In the end, his mastery afforded us a win. I will never forget his leadership skills, command of room, and his ?above and beyond? take-charge attitude. It was an honor to witness firsthand a sliver of how he built such an impeccable reputation that earned his firm international recognition. Even now (and years later), I text him to say hello and he always texts back with genuine engagement. His secret weapon? A heart of pure gold. ? Eternally grateful, Kelly Worley

I do not make it a habit to complain online against anyone, but my conscience will not let me move on from my recent experience with this firm. Unsuspecting clients need to know what transpired in my case and the firm needs to review as well to prevent from happening again in the future - if they even care one bit. This is an extremely unprofessional set of lawyers (the two I worked with, Bob Einhorn and Jacky Beda) that are only interested in their own advancement/profit. They have committed horrible novice mistakes in handling my case, which was a simple negotiation. Fortunately the case had a positive outcome only because I insisted several times to proceed against their irrational and misplaced advice. Without a hint of exaggeration, I literally had to insist on acting against the lawyers' advice EVERY SINGLE TIME, in order to reach a positive outcome in my case. Just listing a few of their most egregious mistakes: 1. Bad communication. Partner Bob Einhorn was always available for initial calls, but as soon as I signed up he passed my case over to associate Jacky Beda who was clearly out of his element. Never did he disclose that in the signing papers and the initial communication with him. 2 Associate Jacky Beda never wanted to engage with other party and their legal team (that were understandably playing dead) over the phone until I insisted I was going to call them myself. Turned out that was the best decision for moving the case forward. 3. Legal team did not understand basic elements of negotiation, alternatives to negotiated agreement, business sense of numbers presented, lowest acceptable negotiated amount. They even insisted on stopping negotiation and signing me up for arbitration right before opposite party was ready to engage, only because arbitration would have been way more lucrative for them. 4. Associate insisted he had a next day reply policy, even though he let emails and calls unanswered for several weeks at a time. Not once did he apologize, it was never his mistake. 5. Associate openly questioned my motives and undermined my credibility during the negotiation, not once but several times. If you are not going to trust your own client, you are not fit to be in the legal profession. Period. 6. I asked for a 20 min in person meeting with associate Jacky Beda only once in our 18 month-long interaction. He told me exactly what time to show up, only to not be available on a ridiculous excuse and have me wait 3 hours until he could finally meet me. Mind you that was the day before Christmas, I had to fly in from out of state, and had to reschedule my return arrangements because of that delay. Absolutely insane. I don't even know how I managed to have an ongoing relationship for a year and a half with this team of clowns, and managed to successfully steer them to a desirable outcome despite their best efforts to derail my case. Nobody in their right mind should have to go through that. They get zero stars from me and a huge complaint for lack of professionalism, lack of experience and knowledge in legal and professional matters, and bad communication practices. Gentlemen you have not even reached out to discuss my feedback, even though I have continually voiced my disagreements throughout our engagement. And you have not reached out to discuss these complaints even after I made them public. Shows how unprofessional you are and how much you (don't) care for your clients

I am a Florida based international law attorney who focuses on assisting foreigners invest in the U.S. For the past decade, I have relied on Zarco Einhorn Salkowski whenever issues have arisen in my clients' investments. From simple contractual misunderstandings to outright fraud by U.S. joint venture partners, I've seen it all...and the ZES team has SOLVED them all. Possessing a rare combination of masterful skills in negotiation with laser-beam sharp litigation tactics and skills, the Zarco team maneuvers quickly and in real time to resolve issues for clients, whatever the specific need. I have befriended many of the attorneys and legal professionals at the firm as a result of the years of trust built upon their absolute excellence in representing my foreign clients. Forget national firms, big departments focused on hourly billing more than results...there is no commercial legal matter that Zarco Einhorn Salkowski cannot handle better than any megafirm. My heartiest thanks and congratulations to everyone at Team Zarco!

How do I choose a lawyer?

Consider the following:

Comfort Level
- Are you comfortable telling the lawyer personal information? Does the lawyer seem interested in solving your problem?

Credentials
- How long has the lawyer been in practice? Has the lawyer worked on other cases similar to yours?

Cost
- How are the lawyer's fees structured - hourly or flat fee? Can the lawyer estimate the cost of your case?

City
- Is the lawyer's office conveniently located?

Not sure what questions to ask a lawyer?

Here are a few to get you started:

  • How long have you been in practice?
  • How many cases like mine have you handled?
  • How often do you settle cases out of court?
  • What are your fees and costs?
  • What are the next steps?

Want to check lawyer discipline?

It is always a good idea to research your lawyer prior to hiring. Every state has a disciplinary organization that monitors attorneys, their licenses, and consumer complaints. By researching lawyer discipline you can:

  • Ensure the attorney is currently licensed to practice in your state
  • Gain an understanding of his or her historical disciplinary record, if any.
  • Determine the seriousness of complaints/issues which could range from late bar fees to more serious issues requiring disciplinary action.
